This month is Poetry Month and we have been celebrating poetry every day! This month I will be meeting with every class to discuss ways to read poetry. After we practice reading poetry in various ways, I set them free to roam the library and outdoor learning center to read poetry. It is so fun to see the kiddos having fun with poetry! The best part is that they are dying to check out poetry books after the lesson, which is the whole point. Or poetry section is hardly ever visited and we are now turning a corner.
