Last week in the Isbell Library, students learned more about Veteran's Day and wrote letters to the Veterans. All of the letters were dropped off at the Plano VFW for the Veteran's to read. 

On Friday, 2nd graders created virtual posters that I turned into a classbook. Check their books out below!!

Flashlight Reading!!

Since Halloween is around the corner, we are celebrating by reading spooky stories and reading with flashlights in the library! The kids have so much fun doing this! I have been playing Thriller by Michael Jackson in the background, after a student requested this song :) The pictures are pretty dark, but you can see how much fun they have reading in the dark library!!!

Pumpkin all around!!

Last week, Kindergarten came in for a fun pumpkin unit! There were five stations that they rotated around to that focused on PUMPKINS! The students worked on handwriting, life cycle of a pumpkin, measurement, geometry and completed a technology word search. Below are some pictures of the fun!!
